About the Job

In this role you will have the opportunity to help the organization unlock value for our users and business through data.

The job involves developing and implementing a tracking strategy for web properties and outbound channels, performing tagging implementation using Google Tag Manager and analyzing user journeys and performance. The candidate will work with internal stakeholders on analytics projects, provide analytics support for cross-channel personalization, and develop dashboards and reports for various activities. The candidate will also serve as a project lead for data discovery work.

The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics will be responsible for:

Tracking Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop analytics tracking strategy for our web properties and various outbound channels (i.e. display, SEM, social email, affiliates, etc.) to ensure our data is being tracked with a high level of consistency and be able to perform data mapping between different data sources (e.g. Google Analytics with CRM data)
  • Perform tagging implementation via Google Tag Manager (GTM) for new website initiatives and serve as a product owner of GTM to manage all the existing website & media tags, including troubleshooting any tracking issues.

Analytics

  • Perform user journey and performance analysis according to business needs with cross data sources between Google Analytics, Email & CRM database, etc.
  • Work with different internal stakeholders across various analytics projects including customer lifetime value calculation, attribution analysis, etc.
  • Serve as a project lead when it comes to data discovery work for analytics projects with different stakeholders
  • Provide analytics support to enhance cross channels personalization
  • Serve as the primary resource for all Google Analytics-related inquiries, providing expertise and troubleshooting support to ensure the effective use of analytics across the organization.

Reporting & Dashboard

  • Develop dashboards and reports for various activities, including, website/paid media/email performance, personalization findings, new campaign performance, etc.

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in analytical / statistical / marketing field
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for tagging implementation is a must
  • Candidates with experience with Google Analytics 4 is a must
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in using data visualization tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase etc.) is a must
  • Working experience with HTML and JavaScript for tagging implementation would be advantageous
  • A self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude, ready to tackle new challenges independently and find innovative solutions to improve processes and solve complex problems.
  • Fluent in English & Chinese 

Good to have:

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for a more junior position
  • Working experience of Python & SQL would be a bonus
  • Working knowledge on managing a cloud based data platform would be a bonus (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, etc.)
