Primary Function:

Create and execute commercial strategies to grow revenues and market share in the US. Proactively foster new business by applying comprehensive market, application, and product expertise to deliver tailored customer solutions. Cultivate a curious mindset to gain deeper insights into customer needs, fostering opportunities for new business, products, and markets to drive growth.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and penetration strategies to grow Viking share in US region.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and influencers, to enhance Viking’s brand and position in the US Hygienic space.

  • Develop and implement effective and relevant channels to market for Hygienic sales growth in the US.

  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to drive profitable growth.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, providing market and customer insights, product and service inputs, and routes/channel to market ideas to support sales growth targets.

  • Proactively leverage 80/20 principles with focus on high impact activities that significantly contribute to sales success, by identifying and prioritizing key customers, strategic initiatives, and impactful projects.

  • Conduct continuous market monitoring (e.g. trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics); proactively communicate with internal teams; develop/adjust go-to-market and product strategies where appropriate.

  • Provide the company with new product and service ideas; champion sales growth strategies; and provide market and customer insights to new product development and marketing teams.

  • Ability to interpret customer VOC and relate relevant information to cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, drive product improvements and process changes.

  • Utilize CRM and sales funnel to manage, measure, and communicate sales activities, progress, and results.

  • Ability to contact end customers via multiple channels (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, targeted prospecting, lead generation etc.) to drive business development and build relationships with key customers.

  • Computer skills including CRM programs.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Willingness to travel, including +50% overnight stay.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • B.S or B.A. in Marketing, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or 10+ years of Hygienic sales.

Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard and perform general office functions.

  • Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.

  • Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

  • General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and all levels of corporate and company personnel.

  • Works closely with other unit field sales management, other IDEX business units, IDEX Strategic Account Management, Customer Service, Applications and Product Engineering, and Finance.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $94,600.00 - $141,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
