Job Overview:


As a Project Analyst (Intern) in AvePoint, you'll gain hands-on experience across various facets of information technology, focusing on business analysis, project management, data migration, and technical support. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work within a software integration service provider setting, where you'll engage with diverse clients and projects, honing your skills in both client-facing and technical roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with clients to document down and fine-tune business requirements.
    • Analyse client needs and propose IT solutions aligned with product/technology offerings.
    • Assist in the development of functional specifications and use cases.
    • Assist in system integration test and user acceptance test.
  2. Project Management:
    • Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
    • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  3. Data Migration:
    • Participate in data mapping and data cleansing activities.
    • Assist in the execution of data migration plans, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot data migration issues and perform validation tests.
  4. Technical Support:
    • Provide technical assistance to clients and end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to products and services.
    • Assist in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and document complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced vendor environment.
  • Familiarity with data migration concepts, including data mapping and validation, is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support roles is advantageous.
  • Mandarin-speaking is advantageous.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a 6-month internship position with the possibility of extension based on performance and organisational needs. Compensation will be provided in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
