How you’ll do it

The Sales Intelligence Project Manager will be responsible for managing the development and deployment of commercial analytic tools aligned with key business initiatives to drive sales behaviors and actions across a commercial team of 5000+ global commercial sellers.  This role will work with region and area leaders to create scalable tools which provide actionable insights, KPIs and trends in order to identify areas of potential risk and opportunity.  Additionally, this role will manage the requirement gathering and management throughout the development process in JIRA. Our organization embraces customer focus, tenacious problem-solving, data-driven decision making and collaboration, and this role will be a key contributor to this culture.  Works under minimal supervision and in conjunction with leaders across all functional groups. Leads teams to resolve challenges and to address opportunities related to the portfolio. 

  • Partner with the development team to increase sales intelligence capabilities
  • Manage the creation of Power BI dashboards focused on Commercial KPIs which drive action and sales behaviors
  • Support business and trend analysis through the use of data analysis and modeling to identify and generate key insights which support development of action plans to achieve annual business targets on an as-needed basis
  • Understand strategic priorities and business questions where analytic guidance is needed. Develop project plans to tackle key questions and provide direction and guidance based on data and analysis, enabling the organization to hit current year and long-range strategic goals
  • Partner with the regional teams to define and manage requirements throughout the development process
  • Identify and expand on development of self-service analytics capabilities in the organization
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned

What we look for
Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics or technical degree
  • 5+ years of related experience  
  • 3+ years’ experience with a BI Platform (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
  • 2+ years in leading cross-functional teams

  • Highly analytical strategic mindset with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and develop actionable intelligence
  • Strong Power BI skills
  • Possesses business and strategic acumen with ability to communicate broader business vision to cross-functional and technical teams
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to build business plans inclusive of financial performance levers Agile decision-making, entrepreneurial nature, ability to formulate a strong POV and adjust plans strategically in a changing environment
  • Data-obsessed and action-oriented, creative, resourceful, ethical, self-motivated, and disciplined
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience to influence decision making at the highest levels
  • Strong analytic & ETL data skills, including advanced Excel, SQL, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders
  • Strong knowledge of business performance KPIs
  • Change management leadership.  Implementation of new processes / systems
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, and Access)
