Position Overview:

The AP Global Manager is a hands-on finance position responsible for all daily operations of the accounts payable department within this On Location division.

The position will report to the Director, Controller – FIFA. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical accounts payable experience (preferably within Events or Hospitality) along with the adaptability, resilience to change and inter-personal skills necessary to thrive in large people-oriented organizations. The individual should demonstrate empathy, flexibility and agility in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities, as required.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process including the processing of invoices, payments, vendor maintenance, and expense reporting
  • Responsible for the managing and oversight of accounts payable associates in the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve any billing discrepancies
  • Oversee the accuracy and timely processing of invoices and payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting communication with vendors regarding payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Perform analyses of financial data, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Proactively monitor accounts payable aging and maintain communication with leadership on overdue payments
  • Prepare monthly expense reports to review for accuracy along with other ad hoc report generation and analysis
  • Support the cashflow process by managing AP aging and information on future payments
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures
  • Continuously collaborate with finance and accounting team to improve processes
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
  • 5+ years of accounts payable or financial accounting experience
  • Experience working with multinational companies and foreign currency

Skills and abilities

  • Supervision qualities to manage a team of 4 members
  • Understanding of US GAAP and expense recognition
  • Strong analytical skills, technical or operational accounting background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Financial Statements and reports
  • Pro-active
  • Flexible and ability to adapt approach

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.  Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Range Minimum:

$97,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$130,000 annually
