Role purpose

The key purpose of the Assistant Operations Manager role is to support to the Operations Manager in the maintenance of the centre to maximise customer and retailer satisfaction, whilst assisting in the day to day running of the centre to ensure it is maintained to the agreed standards that s which help bring the Vicinity brand to life.

You will be an ambitious manager with a track record of achieving superior outcomes through a well-planned and innovative approach and most importantly a high level of energy and tenacious attitude determined to accomplish the best outcome.

What will success look like?             

                                                                                   

You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role in a relevant operations field and will be known for your solid technical knowledge of building operations and legislation, including regulatory compliance, contractor management capability and workplace health & safety. An aspiration for process improvement and a qualification in a related field would be highly regarded.

You will be an excellent communicator that can leverage relationships to deliver best in class outcomes along with your ability to collaborate effectively with your team in a fast-paced environment.

The successful incumbent will contribute to a culture that aspires to high performance, always deliver on commitments and strive to exceed industry best practice.

The incumbent will be required to work permanently from Sundays through to Thursdays and will also act as lead discipline in the absence of centre management on Sundays to take on leadership roles to support site staff.
