Enters data from a source document into a computer system. Verifies entries for accuracy and completeness. May convert data from one electronic system to another. Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures. May work with stand-alone data systems or Enterprisewide tools supporting activities such as marketing lead tracking, fulfillment, manufacturing, and equipment maintenance or materials transactions. This job can report to any functional area where emphasis of the job is on data entry/processing and a more specific job match does not exist such as Supply Chain/Procurement Support, Administrative Support - HR, Document Control Support or Data Center Operations Technician. May be internal or external, client-focused for company-hosted web-enabled solutions. This focus can report to any functional area where emphasis of the job is on data entry/processing.
