About Redwood Materials

Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

Associate HRBP 

As an Associate HR Business Partner at Redwood Materials, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's mission to create a sustainable future through advanced recycling technologies. This role involves partnering with leadership and employees to drive HR initiatives, enhance employee relations, and support business objectives. You will utilize your expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and HR best practices to contribute to a dynamic and innovative work environment. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Investigate employee concerns and alleged policy violations to ensure fair and thorough resolutions.
  • Handle intake and triage of sensitive employee relations cases within established guidelines.
  • Offer HR consultation and guidance to leaders to support effective management and decision-making. 
  • Foster positive interactions with employees to improve overall employee relations. 
  • Develop and deliver analytical reports, insights, and presentations to aid HR and business decision-making. 
  • Design and recommend new processes or enhancements to existing ones, incorporating best practices for process improvement. 
  • Lead special projects that drive business innovation and contribute to organizational growth. 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Advanced proficiency in technical skills, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint). 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with employees and leaders at all levels. 
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process improvement. 
  • A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place! 

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
