Talent Development Specialist – Learning and Development

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Talent Development Specialist

  • Location: Skokie, IL & Warrenville, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

  • Required Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations will be required for trainings and orientation

What you will do:

  • Lead large, complex learning programs ensuring high quality solutions

  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to conduct thorough learning and skill and target audience analysis to design aligned learning solutions.

  • Collaboratively partner with HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, to align learning solutions to the needs of leaders and teams.

  • Apply the latest in instructional design and adult learning principle to design, develop (or modify) innovative and engaging learning experiences, interactive activities, creative materials, tools, and development resources.

  • Design components may include expert speakers/panels, action learning, coaching, digital and social learning for pre-work and/or reinforcement and learning application.

  • Develop robust facilitator materials for repeatable, scalable delivery.

  • Collaborate with Learning Experience and other partners to ensure smooth program administration and delivery and stellar experience for participants.

  • Collaborate with others on the team to ideate options and solutions, and coordinate on developing and delivering solutions.

  • Define measurement approach and design to evaluate the impact & effectiveness of learning solutions, implementing level 2, 3 evaluation mechanisms as necessary.

  • Facilitate engaging in-person, virtual, and blended learning programs to NorthShore team members with high energy.

  • Support talent solutions that develop our leaders and their team members across the system, including: mentoring, talent planning, and onboarding.

  • Research best practices and conduct benchmarking to understand the latest approaches and successful solutions.

  • Deliver pilot and final solutions, executing with high quality, engaging team members across the system.

  • Develop websites, support materials, and communications to deliver talent solution.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Organizational Development, Training and Development, Psychology or related field

  • Certification: Hogan, MBTI and/or other assessment certification, preferred. Crucial Conversations and/or other learning content certifications, preferred

  • Experience:

    • Minimum five years of direct experience in training, learning consulting and/or organizational development preferred

    • Experience facilitating through virtual learning platforms

    • Experience with consulting and partnering with leadership and departments to meet their learning and development needs

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Dynamic, engaging presenter

    • Creative in the development of presentations and learning materials

    • Able to write creative and clear materials and communications that are engaging to learners and the organization

    • Demonstrated teamwork skills with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

    • Demonstrated success in working in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities while delivering results

    • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage across multiple deadlines
