Responsibilities:

The Greif Early Career Program offers a 10-week corporate internship experience. Participants will undertake project-based assignments focused on supply chain.

  • Conduct in-depth data, market, and supply base analysis
  • Leverage data analysis tools to identify trends and opportunities
  • Assist sourcing managers on strategic initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and departmental engagements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

A summer internship at Greif will enable you to:

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio
  • Assist in supply chain assignments and ongoing projects
  • Familiarize yourself with departmental functions
  • Gain insight into how Greif builds its products and sources materials
  • Interact with various strategic business units across the company
  • Attend internship events, social networking events, and roundtables
  • Potentially present to the Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship
  • Contribute to performance goals and assigned projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in Supply Chain, or Business with a focus on sourcing and procurement, or similar programs
  • Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19th, 2025, to July 25th, 2025

What sets you apart:

  • Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above  
  • Relevant internship or work experience or involvement in supply chain clubs/organizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and math skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a willingness to take risks and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills
