Village Vet is seeking a new Veterinary Surgeon to join their established team. This is a split role, involving working part of the week at Village Vet Kensal Green and the other at Village Vet Queens Park in a rotation with two other Veterinarians, meaning opportunities to collaborate as a team and manage your own caseload.
Both practices are well equipped with laboratory diagnostic equipment, dental suites and dedicated operating theatres. The Vets are supported by experienced and dedicated nursing team at both sites
We are looking for someone with a real drive and passion for the veterinary industry to work closely with our team, to continue to drive the practice forward and give the clients and patients the best care.
We are looking for the following skills:
We are supported by our colleagues in local Village Vet branches, many of whom are completing certificates in their area of interest, as well as visiting specialist surgeons, happy to share their time and expertise.
Our 24-hour hospital in Hampstead has a dedicated night team so there is no on-call or night work for our branch Vets. We also are supported by London Veterinary specialists who will accept referrals for very complex cases that need more than advanced primary care knowledge.
We are dedicated to promoting a good work life balance and this role comes with an excellent rota, support and mentorship from your Lead Vet and Clinical Director and a clear career development path.
The nearest tube station to Queenspark are the Brondesbury Park on the Overground and Queens Park on the Bakerloo Line. The practice is located off a busy high street that had a strong village feel. Just one stop away is located Village Vet Kensal Green on the overground or is a 15 minute walk.
This role comes with an excellent rota 4/5 day week including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8am-4pm).
