Overview: Revolution Cannabis is hiring an experienced manufacturing operations Manager to lead production and operational activities at our facility in Delavan, Illinois. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing processes, KPI-driven performance, and team leadership. The Manager of Production & Fulfillment will oversee production schedules, ensure quality standards, and drive operational efficiency while maintaining strict compliance with policies and regulations.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Observe all safety practices and guidelines while executing tasks 
  • Responsibility for and main of all processes and people within the Production & Fulfillment areas including but not limited to flower weighing, lab pack, pre-roll production, labeling, vault, and order processing.
  • Manage production workflows to meet demand and quality requirements.
  • Optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and meet KPIs for efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Oversee inventory management, including raw materials and stock returns.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Packaging/Orders Supervisors, Assistant Manager, and emerging leaders.
  • Supervise and develop production teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Analyze operational metrics to implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and SOPs.
  • Train and coach employees as needed to attain Revolution Quality Standards
  • Direct and plan workflow(s) based on labor/time and automation constraints
  • Oversee day-to-day filling, packaging, and labeling of finished goods as well as order fulfillment process
  • Follow all rules of conduct regarding proprietary information and processes 
  • Ensure the safety, reliability, and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Calibrate equipment (scales etc.) daily, document and report needed repairs/tag-outs 
  • Demonstrates consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain daily operations and team effectiveness; able to work regular business hours and proactive in seeking coverage when necessary
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, resolve problems, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with production software.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and industry best practices preferred
  • Experience with cannabis compliance software preferred

  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences, including supervisors, upper management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Experienced in Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Power Point 
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgment, common sense and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically if needed.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must possess valid state ID.
  • Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in in cannabis industry (requires background check and state review).

 

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a physically charged environment 
  • Must be able to tolerate strong smells and temperature variations
  • Must be able maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks 
  • Must be able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater) 
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions 
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise) 
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Travel as needed

Work Schedule:

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation/Benefits Insights:

Pay Range based on experience: ($70-$100k Annual Salary). Revolution's Full-Time Employees are eligible for benefit offerings for the following: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA/HSA Options, PTO, 401k with company match, and employee Discount.
