Job Summary

Responsible for leading supply chain operations including warehousing, inventory control, transportation and network optimization while aligning supply chain strategies with stakeholders across multiple Comcast Regions. Drive operational excellence by fostering strategic partnerships and ensure cost-efficiencies that align with organizations objectives. Typically manages multiple teams of professionals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Accountable within operations including processes and performance, from tactical operations to strategic planning with the goal of operational excellence.
  • Maintain short and long-term perspective to provide vision and leadership in areas of process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Actively participate in sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to represent operations team.
  • Accountable for outsourced vendor and supplier management responsible for ensuring consistent high quality and standardized operations and contracted service level agreements are being followed.
  • Drive for improvement in inventory, production management, transportation and cost by leveraging key performance indicators/metrics.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and developing crisis or disaster plans to minimize impact of supply chain disruptions.
  • Assist in development and leading sustainability plan for supply chain operations.
  • Oversee all field and corporate escalations related to operations and vendor management are resolved quickly and appropriately.
  • Serve as a champion and subject matter expert for operations, elevating the understanding and knowledge of operations with your peers/key stakeholders.
  • Use customer and supply chain knowledge and relationships to identify service, cost and growth opportunities.
  • Align strategic roadmap with key stakeholders across functions, hierarchy and different parts of the business.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
