About the Role

Remitly is looking for a Senior Regulatory Change Programme Manager to join the Expansion team. Based in London, the role will report to the Principal Expansion Programme Manager in Seattle and help expand Remitly's global licencing presence while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory environments.. You will collaborate with colleagues in Legal, Compliance, Business Management, Product, and other teams across Remitly's global offices. As the Senior Regulatory Change Programme Manager, you will manage the end-to-end regulatory change process, ensuring that licencing applications and regulatory timelines are met, and overseeing the implementation of strategic improvements that support Remitly's growth into new markets. Your work will allow Remitly to maintain regulatory compliance and accelerate its growth.

You Will:

  • Scope regulatory requirements and ensure cross-functional teams meet these requirements within established timelines
  • Ensure seamless, end-to-end coordination across teams
  • Plan for dependencies, anticipate risks, and mitigate blockers to ensure on-time delivery of assigned initiatives
  • Lead programme rituals like standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Build and maintain project documentation to support continuity and scalability
  • Develop frameworks and processes that enable repetition and scalability
  • Manage multiple, concurrent project types
  • Willing to support ad hoc needs as they arise
  • Creatively and independently solve emergent challenges

You Have:

  • 5 years of experience overseeing complex projects, building and scaling process improvements, and working with diverse teams in an agile environment
  • Experience in regulated financial services and regulatory change management (i.e. PSD2/3 implementation, SCA implementation, Business Continuity Planning etc)
  • Experience with payment licences preparation and application, working with regulatory institutions
  • Experience solving ambiguous problems and building programs from the ground up
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with partners at all levels to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Experience working in multicultural environments; you adjust your communication based on team member role type and background
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
  • A data-centric approach to inform and guide decision-making
  • A willingness to travel to headquarters and other global office locations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
