Our Customer & Market Insights (CMI) team is looking for a Senior Advisor to join their dynamic and inclusive team. In this role, you will manage strategic and financially impactful market research projects and provide technical guidance to the team. Your work will support regulatory filings and various company initiatives.

What You Will Do 

  • Be part of an in-house market research and customer insights focused team that supports the Enbridge Gas utility.  

  • Design and implement market research projects, including quantitative surveys and qualitative studies such as focus groups, usability testing, and in-depth interviews (IDIs).  

  • You will manage strategic market research projects, customer engagement to support major regulatory filings or investment opportunities. You will also lead the review and redesign of existing tracking programs as well as the development of new programs.  

  • Manage all aspects of the research process, including research design, choice of methodology, vendor selection and procurement process, project plan and project management, questionnaire/discussion guide design and development, analysis and reporting. This includes recommending the best course of action to meet the research objectives. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners across the company to enhance business understanding and ensure that the research support is both relevant and practical.  

  • Assist in answering ad-hoc inquiries from internal clients. This often involves synthesizing and summarizing themes and insights from a variety of sources, including past primary research and secondary research.  

  • Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure that research findings from various studies are synthesized, all projects benefit from knowledge/expertise held by each team member, and that lessons learned are shared across the team. The Senior Advisor will play a critical role in facilitating this.  

  • Develop and maintain technical processes and procedures for the CMI team. 

  • Participate in cross-functional projects where ongoing research support and consultation are required.  

Who You Are 

You will have the following education and experience: 

  • Related university degree along with 6+ years of directly related experience. 

  • Strong project management skills and a thorough understanding of the research process. 

  • Proficiency with statistical analysis packages (e.g., SPSS). 

  • Ability to extract insights from quantitative and qualitative data. 

  • Strong writing skills.  

  • Creative data visualizations and reporting skills. 

  • Ability to establish and maintain good client and vendor relationships. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a regulated environment. 

  • Qualtrics Certification. 

  • Market research training at the post-secondary level.
