    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Quality Management: Own data stewardship of transaction data in the transaction data model. This would include processing of exception handling and collaborating with Distribution Intelligence team members and data owners to address data quality issues. Assist in conducting data audits and checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Data Governance Support:

  • Assist in implementing data governance policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and compliance.

  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance best practices.

  • Data Entry and Validation:

  • Accurately input and validate data in accordance with established data standards and guidelines.

  • Data Documentation:

  • Help maintain comprehensive documentation of the transaction management model data rules

  • Ensure data documentation is kept up-to-date and readily accessible for Distribution Intelligence team members and business stakeholders.

  • Data Security and Privacy:

  • Assist in implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information.

  • Support compliance with data privacy regulations and data access controls.

  • Data Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster data sharing and knowledge exchange.

  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely data insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a data stewardship or data management role.

  • Data Management Skills:

  • Familiarity with data management principles, data governance, and data quality management.

  • Experience with data classification and data lifecycle concepts.

  • Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in data entry and validation techniques.

  • Exposure to and experience with Cloud-based MDM, databases, and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Semarchy, Snowflake, Salesforce CRM etc.) is preferred.

  • Attention to Detail:

  • Strong attention to detail to identify data inconsistencies and anomalies.

  • Ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

  • Analytical Thinking:

  • Basic data analysis skills to identify patterns and trends

  • Ability to contribute to data-driven insights.

  • Communication Skills:

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Problem-Solving:

  • Proactive in identifying and addressing data-related challenges.

  • Ability to propose solutions to improve data management processes.

  • Adaptability:

  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving data requirements and priorities.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

  • Financial Services Knowledge:

  • Understanding of transaction files from intermediaries and feeder files required. Experience specifically with DST is a plus.

  • Understanding of asset management processes, products, and investment management concepts is a plus.
