eBay, Inc. seeks Data Science-Analyst 3 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Work closely with marketing managers and leadership, machine learning team and product engineers to launch intuitive and innovative marketing communications using the user behavior data, tailor the content and frequency. Design A/B test, measure the test performance, and provide final recommendations to launch or improve the test further enabling a strong decision process. Perform hands-on analyses using tools and packages such as SQL, R and Python. Transform big data in Teradata and Hadoop into actionable insights and evaluate how insights impact eBay’s ecosystem. Build self-serve tool using tools such as Tableau, Redash and Amplitude to monitor performance of Customer Marketing across channels, programs and categories. Conduct exploratory analyses using SQL, R and Python to extract impactful insights and identify strategic opportunities that are accretive to existing roadmaps.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree , or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base salary:  $170,186-234,850 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
