As EMEA Export Control Manager, your key responsibilities will be ensuring the export control compliance in all Intel's business activities in the assigned countries in EMEA together with the rest of the EMEA Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance team.
The role may be based in France, Ireland or Poland and you will be reporting to EMEA Export Controls and Sanctions Director.
Your focus will be on the assigned countries with a focus on France to enable business compliance with applicable export control regulations. Further, you will support the efforts to define and drive the vision for the further development of Internal Control Program in EMEA and therefore work closely with the EMEA Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance team members, other internal groups and colleagues, authorities, customers, etc. to coordinate and ensure any export controls requirements and needs will be timely and accurately satisfied.
Key responsibilities will be:
providing analysis of changes and supporting affected business units by interpreting and explaining export controls requirements and regulations; to further develop strong relationships with authorities in the assigned countries;
to manage and ensure proper authorizations;
to standardize, optimize and implement procedures and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Min. 5 years of relevant experience in export controls in an international environment with either an international operating company or an international law firm;
Relevant experience in safeguarding compliance including translation of export control legal requirements into business practice, assessing risks and developing mitigation strategies, providing guidelines, developing compliance programs as well as drafting policies and procedures;
Proven experience in collaborating with export control authorities - especially strong experience working with SBDU and ANSSI;
Sound knowledge of EU, DE and US dual-use exports controls regulations;
Fluent English and French language skills;
Very good understanding of complex supply chain processes and business models of a globally active high technology company;
Working experience in leading projects, orientation on details and results;
You are communicative with good negotiation skills, a reliable sense of judgement and strong social skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven relevant experience in semiconductor, high technology, or related industries;
Sanctions regulations expertise and relevant trainings/certifications;
Experience working with Middle East export control regulations/authorities;
Knowledge of EU, DE and US military/defense exports controls regulations;
Additional languages will be a plus.
