About the role:

The Security Operation Team is looking for an application security analyst with at least 5 to 6 years of Java application support and information security experience. The successful incumbent will have strong technical and problem-solving skills, experience with java web technologies / mobile/ API, and the ability to work independently. As a member of the team that supports Application Security, responsibilities include application consultancy for remediation of security findings, responding to application security service requests, debugging and problem solving of security issues, performance etc. The desirable candidate will show initiative, be accepting of responsibility and be accountable for results. The successful candidate will have strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.  This unique opportunity offers a dynamic space and a chance to collaborate with multiple business units. 

Responsibilities

• Develop code & test for the security fixes for application’s vulnerabilities in web & mobiles applications across all environments (Dev, Sit, STAGE & Prod).

• Develop security solutions to web/mobile apps to present a holistic security posture.

• Participate develop, test and debug programs for Java services. Deployment is done using Kubernetes containers.

• Being security SME, incumbent is expected to participate in security team review, assess, triage, communicate, and resolve issues in all environments.

• Provide ongoing support of Java based applications in Production and test environments including responding to Incident & Problem analysis, Service restoration and recovery, Security vulnerability remediation and Audits.

• Interface with application developers, information security teams, application designers and testing specialists to deliver high quality solutions for remediating penetration testing issues.  

• Strong exposure and deep understanding on OWASP TOP 10 security issues and solution approach.

Mandatory Skills

• B.Tech/MCA

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in web application support using Java platform.

• 5 to 8 Years of extensive experience in design and development of web applications based on J2EE framework.

• Should have experience of working in application Support or implementing large systems following full SDLC.

• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript & web development languages like HTML, XML, CSS, Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies such as Servlet, JDBC and JSP, Spring framework, Container technologies – Kubernetes, Docker

• Knowledge of OWASP TOP 10

• Experience in Core Java, Webservices SOAP/REST.
