Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key channel partners, fostering collaboration and understanding of their unique needs.
  • Design and manage technical enablement plans for aligned channel partners, ensuring they are well-equipped to implement F5 products, applications, and solutions effectively.
  • Communicate F5's sales strategy, messaging, and value proposition to align with customer business objectives. Highlight the technical and business value of F5 solutions in comparison to competitors.
  • Provide solution design ideas aligned with customers' desired business outcomes, demonstrating a deep understanding of F5 products and their application.
  • Contribute to the development of content, including presentations and use cases, for customers and partners. This involves staying current with industry trends and communicating F5's innovative solutions effectively.
  • Train channel partner Sales and SEs to identify and qualify opportunities. Coordinate training activities with F5 Sales teams and actively participate in delivering workshops and other demand generation activities.
  • Support F5 channel partner sales initiatives, providing consistent training on F5 solutions and offering technical expertise and oversight as required.
  • Proactively provide consultative support, leveraging in-depth industry knowledge and understanding of F5 technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with Channel and Sales management to establish and qualify channel partners' ability to sell F5 solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge of F5's product set, the relevant industry, and sales aptitude.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 30% as needed for the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with network, security, and web technologies.
  • 8+ years of related industry experience, with 5+ years of preferred pre-sales experience.
  • Proficiency in DevOps/DevSecOps mentorship, including training material and standard methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, Docker, etc.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare, and OpenStack.
  • Familiarity with container orchestrators such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm
  • Knowledge of application development languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of OWASP principles (preferred, but not required).
  • Familiarity with application security vulnerabilities, threats and controls, and web application firewall (preferred, but not required).
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience.

The annual base pay for this position is: $174,976.00 - $262,464.00
