DE&I Specialist – PlayStation Studios (UK)
We are seeking a DE&I Specialist to join the PlayStation (PSS) DE&I Team. The purpose of this role is to facilitate the effective execution and advancement of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. This role will be responsible for owning projects, providing crucial program support, maximising data-driven insights, and fostering collaboration across various teams to ensure the success and alignment of our DE&I programs with organisational goals. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the DE&I Manager for PlayStation Studios.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Talent Development
Execute and own elements of the PSS DE&I strategy, specifically elements related to talent development.
Design, drive and lead the delivery of programs (such as sponsorship) that strive to retain underrepresented talent. Increase readiness for growth opportunities and improve representation in overall headcount and in senior positions.
Lead partnership with HR teams such as Talent Enablement to embed DE&I in talent processes for PSS. Lead on the delivery of programs that enable learning, advancement and retention of underrepresented talent across our studios.
Partner with Talent Aquisition to develop and execute strategies that attract underrepresented talent across all levels of PSS.
Pull demographic data on a consistent basis to track DE&I metrics relating to retention and development of underrepresented groups in order to track progress on DE&I objectives, allowing us to make interventions and establish accountabilities.
Use data to identify trends and gaps and use insights to influence our overall talent strategy.
Partner with the Global DE&I and Social Justice Team and wider early talent teams to leverage efforts to embed early career programs across PSS.
Operations
Ownership over all vendor management responsibilities. Handle DE&I contracts; partner with key partners (vendor management, finance and legal) to submit requests and ensure contracts are processed in a timely manner. Onboard new vendors and external partners.
Lead development of best practice templates, playbooks and processes to enhance our PSS DE&I efforts.
Proactively identify project risks and opportunities and provide creative and innovative solutions.
Required Knowledge / Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in DE&I, HR, or related field.
Ability to collaborate and adapt to the needs of various global partners.
Strategic thinking: ability to develop long-term strategies that align to DEI objectives and wider business goals.
Strong operational execution with the demonstrated ability to support multiple, global programs.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables.
Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.
Ability to be both responsive to emerging issues and proactively seek out areas of improvement.
