Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. 

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. This person will focus on testing complex subsystems in our humanoid robot.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct testing of actuators and other subsystems to ensure they meet established specifications and performance standards
  • Remove and replace mechanical components weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or discrepancies during the testing process
  • Maintain and ensure the test equipment is in good working condition
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the testing process and overall quality
  • Utilize JIRA, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and email for communication and documentation
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines when necessary

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Self-motivated and ambitious, with the ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow documentation accurately
  • Proficiency with general hand tools
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to tackle challenges
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Catia or other CAD-based programs
  • Fabrication experience
  • Robotics experience
