Cadence Design Systems Inc.  is looking for a motivated Principal Software Engineer: SoC Silicon Agent R&D to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Job Description:

• Work daily with software architecture, Python/C++ development on the SoC Silicon Agent R&D team, solving real-world programming problems in an innovative, supportive, and collaborative environment.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, helping the manager to distribute and control the technical tasks, and doing architecture and code reviews

Requirements:

• Complete Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering, Math and Statistic courses; with 4 or more years of experience working in the software industry
• Solid knowledge in software architecture, data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of Python scripting language
• Good written and spoken English with strong communication skill

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of hardware verification: simulation, emulation and formal verification
• Knowledge of Verilog and VHDL languages.
• Knowledge of C++ programming language
• Experience with scripting languages – Tcl / Perl - and Unix environment.
