This role sits within the Digital Capabilities group within Securities Services Technology (SST). The SST Digital Capabilities Foundational Services group is responsible for driving the adoption of client and business-centric methodologies, and the development of standards and tools to enhance Book-of-Work management, including alignment to business objectives and prioritization.
This IT Project Coordinator role is responsible for the administrative support of technology-enabled strategic portfolios which form part of a wide range of Securities Services initiatives, delivering high-value sustainable client and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the project and program documentation, for the assigned portfolio of projects.
Ensuring the appropriate level of project information is generated in a timely and consistent manner, in line with SST standards, and ensures high quality of information output.
Providing approvals for project and program documentation are obtained in a timely manner.
Taking accountability for project and program governance compliance.
Supporting the Portfolio Leads in maintaining team adherence to project controls as well as standards and process changes, through the generation of reports and active monitoring / tracking
Working with the Development Lead, Scrum Masters and Senior Developers to ensure project governance and delivery process and methodology is effective, e.g. every component has detailed IT work and milestone plans, schedules with milestones, estimates, resource plans, reporting and clear risk and issue management.
Managing Information Security, Vulnerability Assessment, Architecture Review and Cross-Border Clearance processes, and ensures these are undertaken in time to limit impact and delays on business outcomes delivery.
Knowledge & Skills Required
1-3 years relevant background in working with Project Managers and Scrum Masters within a technology environment delivering high value projects.
Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques.
Ability to organize and priorities critical issues and information to facilitate efficient decision making; providing oversight and guidance to teams / projects of highest priority and importance.
Strong communication skills
Ability to solve complex challenges, and have a high ability to remove barriers, understanding internal and external organizational structures, dynamics and trade-off.
Excellent time management, data analysis & KPIs management skills
Extensive understanding of the project management lifecycle
Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
Desirable: Certified in Agile / Scrum
