Job Description

Mission:
Collaborate and provide support on projects carried out by his/her business unit/department, in keeping with the guidelines given by his/her supervisor, so that his/her work will enhance decision-making processes and processes involving the project’s execution and provide the internal client with added value through his/her professional performance.

Furthermore, the position requires analysis and reporting on key financial data within the organisation, ensuring that management and shareholders receive timely and accurate information

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Management of financial processes
  • Monthly financial reporting in SAP for all Acciona subsidiaries
  • Uploading of monthly reporting from SAP into the Acciona group consolidation platform
  • Responsible for the payments process and related controls over the payment process
  • Monitoring adherence of financial policies
  • Contract management (ensuring adherence to the financial aspect of contracts which the company is party to)
  • Preparation, monitoring and adherence of annual budget
  • Monitoring of costs against budget, reporting the deviations and suggesting improvements/cost savings
  • Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts and regular monitoring of cash flow for all group companies
  • Tax submissions and compliance (VAT, Employee’s tax, dividends tax and Income Tax)
  • Preparation of taxable income calculation including deferred tax reconciliation
  • Manage the external financial audit
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements in terms of IFRS
  • Ensure that a strong working relationship is maintained with stakeholders
  • Ensure that financial records are valid, accurate and complete
  • Responsible for the different reporting to lenders under the financial agreements

·          B.Com Financial Accounting

·          Postgraduate in Financial Accounting (advantage)

·          Numerical Aptitude and exceptional attention to detail

·          Good Communication and presentation skills

·          Meticulous record keeping and ability to look after accounting function of a group of companies in various stages of development

·          Ability to multitask

·          Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

·          Detailed understanding of IFRS

·          Excellent Computer literacy, excel
