About the Role

Responsible for managing information technology infrastructure as well as applications and software within AIA and providing technical support to internal users

Duties / Accountabilities

  • Develop technical aspects of the Company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals;
  • Manage daily operations of the Information Technology and Business Analysis Department, including system enhancement, security control, network infrastructure and IT operations to ensure functionality and efficiency;
  • Provide technology expertise and advice to the executive leadership team in new technologies that yield competitive advantage and stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices;
  • Manage the overall System Architecture Design to ensure reliability, security and scalability of the organization’s technology systems and infrastructure;
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their technology needs and requirements, and translate them into roadmap and action plans.
  • Establish and maintain overall technology standards, guidelines and practices and ensure compliance with the Company’s policies;
  • Plan, prepare and monitor development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing and operations, ensuring the budget plan is cost-effective and value-driven;
  • Manage vendors to provide IT solutions and system maintenance service;

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to drive IT Projects to cope with development of the Company;
  • Customer-oriented, able to deliver quality & innovative IT solutions;
  • Excellent in building rapport work relationship, as well as in managing various business partners and vendors;
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written in both English and Chinese.

Education/Work Experience

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • At least 12 years of working experience, including 8+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership role, preferably in fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem solving skills, particularly in integrating and recommending various complex IT / business solutions;
  • Experience in developing and executing technology strategies and roadmaps
  • Familiar with various IT platform, such as multi-tiers system architecture and IT System Development Life Cycle;
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting for technology initiatives
