The Global Risk Review (GRR) Analyst reports to the Team Lead and provides analytical support for the Regional or Global GRR teams, including reporting for Regional or Global Review Entities and support for Lead Reviewers in their management of Business Monitoring and Reviews through various activities that include validation of inputs used to determine risk ratings and system support. The analyst will be expected to quickly transition into participation in Business Monitoring and Review activities, in addition to supporting GRR groups on various projects and presentations.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze situations that create risk for Citi, utilizing various resources such as credit reports, score cards, risk systems, and knowledge of the elements of Risk
  • Use tools and techniques to effectively identify and assess trends and risks
  • Communicate findings of analysis to Lead Reviewers
  • For an assigned portfolio of entities of varying complexity, collaborate with Lead Reviewers and regional teams across various GRR teams for Business Monitoring and Review activities (Planning, Fieldwork, and Post Fieldwork) including:
    • Preparation and Maintenance of GRR’s internal system, including milestone tracking and sample documentation
    • Pre- & Post-Review activities, presentation decks, checklists, file comment compilation and System assistance
    • Responsibility for Risk Rating input verification process and compliance to applicable Credit Policies in conjunction with the Fundamental Credit Risk Lead Reviewer
    • Analyze and interpret data to make conclusions or recommendations
    • Other items as required to execute efficient, consistent and value added review activities
  • Gather deliverables and/or prepare presentations to meet internal and Regulatory needs
  • Support the Chief Operating Officer’s team in special projects

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years work experience in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar with Credit, Accounting or financial statement analysis experience
  • Formal credit training or understanding of financial accounting standards (international and/or domestic) is beneficial
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, Word, Visio, etc. and the ability to learn and use various proprietary in-house systems including web-based programs and the like.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
  • Experience working with a highly productive analytical team
  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Ability to make decisions / balance aggressive timelines for deliverables amidst conflicting priorities
  • Experience with managing and analyzing large data sets and management tasks in a large office setting
  • The candidate must be detail and team oriented, be able to interpret, follow strict rules and procedures and be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Excellent ability to build relationships skills with the interest to take initiative and problem solve while working in a fast-paced environment


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

$62,620.00 - $87,380.00
