The Associate Director, Finance Change Management and Project Management plays a critical leadership role in guiding and driving the complex cross-functional initiatives on the Finance Transformation roadmap. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance Program Management and Operations within the Finance Transformation team, this hands-on position is pivotal in developing and executing successful projects and leading change management to ensure that policy, process, and financial system changes are understood and implemented. This role will partner with Finance team leads and cross-functional partners to envision, scope, and complete projects to optimize the Finance function through the Finance Transformation Roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Lead team members from Finance, IT/Business Systems, and other functions on Finance driven projects through project implementation to ensure close collaboration and achieve desired project outcomes.
Develop the Finance Transformation change management framework using best practices for change management principles, methodologies, and tools to:
Evaluate the change impact of transformation initiatives
Define initiative communication and training strategies
Execute initiative strategies to ensure communications and training are delivered to key stakeholders at the appropriate time with the proper level of information.
Partner with Sr. Director, Finance Program Management, and Operations to evaluate, rank, and manage cross-functional finance projects, including those with Business Systems and Data team components. Contribute to coordinating appropriate finance involvement in non-finance projects that contain finance-related implications.
Partner with Finance team leadership to identify and prioritize key opportunities for improvement.
Partner with Finance leadership to develop, communicate, and implement a multi-year strategy to drive long-term efficiency and effectiveness within the Finance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting-related roles.
At least four years dedicated to project management, with a focus on finance/accounting, process, and technology.
Expertise in project management and scrum methodologies and best practices.
Experience creating project documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and detailed user stories.
Experience with user acceptance testing.
Strong understanding of the change process along with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience developing and implementing change management initiatives, including driving stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust governance, and fostering seamless change adoption.
Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in implementing complex projects and initiatives.
Strong understanding of accounting, finance, systems, and industry best practices.
Problem solver with the ability to take a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prosci Change Management) are highly desirable.
Experience in driving finance transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with internal business applications such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, or related SaaS platforms.
What we offer:

The gross salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
