Summary:
In this role, you will accelerate the growth and profitability of Vizient in the Spend Management domain by facilitating the integration and delivery of Spend Management services, optimizing resource allocation and standardizing delivery methodology. You will champion successful fulfillment of Spend Management engagements that combine GPO-managed services and programs, aggregation networks, analytics and technology, and advisory services with unique risk-sharing financial models. You will manage the Achieve Committed Program onboarding and implementation processes and a team of resources aligned to drive optimization and compliance to the program.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction, oversight, and accountability for the delivery of complex, large-scale initiatives.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of engagement leaders, onboarding/implementation specialists, and clinical quality value analysis subject matter experts.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
• Establish and maintain strong knowledge, awareness, and understanding of market dynamics impacting hospitals’ expense management and supply chain; exercise clear leadership, focus, and subject matter expertise in market conditions, technology innovations, and trends that impact Vizient in delivering Spend Management services to Members.
• Measure and manage key business performance indicators against forecasted objectives; prioritize and implement key improvement areas.
• Work with Spend Management leaders to ensure strategic alignment and strong coordination throughout the delivery of Spend Management engagements.
Qualifications:
• Relevant degree preferred, Master’s degree desired.
• 15 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Experience effectively presenting to and influencing “C” level decision makers – CEO, COO, CFO required.
• Ability to understand healthcare member needs and objectives from a programmatic, financial, technical, and organizational perspective required.
• Demonstrated sales and service performance in all size members in addition to the ability to build strategic, collaborative teams required.
• Consultative solution-selling experience, providing solutions to complex client issues required.
• Trusted advisor, strong executive presence, and complex business problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
