Job Description:
SCOPE: In this role, the program specialist will be responsible for all marketing and communications activities related to grants received, community screenings, and outreach initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in regional oncology health equity initiatives by promoting our mission of improving survivorship and lessening the burden of cancer.
FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops and implements robust marketing & communications plans to elevate MBPCC’s grant-related programs and initiatives.
2. Responsible for collaborating with outreach team to provide necessary marketing and communications support for the Prevention on the Go screenings program.
3. Event attendance with onsite support
4. Brand management and special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred (marketing, communications, public relations, etc.)
Availability to attend after-hours and weekend events across all regions, with occasional travel required.
Minimum two years’ experience in marketing and communications.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Attention to detail in managing projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Exceptional time management skills.
