Summary:
As a Salesforce Data 360 Engineer, you will lead the development and delivery of data solutions on Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360). You will own the role of primary technical point of contact, ensuring teams deliver well-architected Data 360 solutions that align with business needs and enterprise standards.
The role requires strong hands-on experience in Data Cloud and the ability to guide teams through complex data ingestion, identity resolution, and activation use cases.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) implementations.
Own solution design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture.
Act as the escalation point for complex data, identity, and performance issues.
Ensure best practices for scalability, performance, and data governance.
Review Data Streams, Data Models, Transforms, Calculated Insights, Segments built by the team
Conduct technical reviews, provide feedback, and enforce coding/data standards
Guide teams on data modeling, DMOs, and relationship design.
Drive UAT, go-live readiness, and post-production optimization.
Support defect resolution and optimization activities.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical designs.
Provide effort estimates, delivery plans, and status updates to leadership.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) configuration and development. Deep understanding of:
Data Streams & DMOs
Identity Resolution & Match Rules
Data Transforms
Calculated Insights (SQL)
Segmentation & Activation
Ability to develop maintainable and scalable solutions.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Advanced SQL skills for analytics and Calculated insights.
Experience with APIs, event data, and cloud data platforms.
Experience working with JSON, APIs, and data integration pipelines.
Understanding of event-based data and customer engagement tracking.
Basic understanding of Salesforce metadata, objects, and permissions.
Good to have Skills:
Sales Cloud / Service Cloud knowledge
Exposure to Einstein, Zero Copy, Document AI, or Semantic Layer is a plus
Knowledge of Salesforce AgentForce integrated with Data Cloud (Data 360) to enable real-time, data-driven AI agent experiences.
Understanding of Marketing Cloud (Contact Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder) and Marketing cloud personalization
Soft Skills
Proven experience leading technical teams
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Decision-making and problem-solving mindset
Ability to balance hands-on work with team leadership

Certifications Required:
Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Mandatory
Salesforce Administrator Mandatory
Agentforce Specialist Preferred
Salesforce AI Associate Preferred

Additional Information:
3 5 years of Salesforce experience.
1 year experience in Data 360 implementation projects is required
Experience working in Agile teams.
15 years of full-time education is required.
