Senior Programmer, Web Applications

Job Description:

What you'll be doing:

• Candidate would be working on Java / J2EE applications either for new requirement or enhancement of existing projects 
• Will be involved in requirement gathering / clarification calls with the NA team
• Will be responsible for providing the development estimate
• Will be closely working with other team members or individually based on the project scope
• Will be involved in the Qual / Prod turnovers and post production supports of applications
• Candidate is expected to be proactive in suggesting / working on new technologies for POC or for applying in the existing projects
• Good opportunity to learn new technologies by being part of a working team on other priority projects along with the core area of responsibility
• Analyzing newer technologies and doing POCs related to the Project

What we're looking for:

• Candidate with 5+ years of strong hands-on design/development background in Java RESTful services
• Ability to implement Java based RESTful services preferably using Springboot framework
• Ability to implement Core Java code with Java Collections
• Good understanding and implementation knowledge of OOPs concepts
• Hands-on development experience with Angular technologies.
• Good working knowledge in SQL & PL/SQL 
• Experience on Unix/Linux platform is a plus  
• Understanding basics of JavaScript for testing and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Good understanding of technologies like HTML, CSS, JSON, XML & JavaScript
• Good understanding and experience with Developer tools at browser side for debugging
• Able to translate requirements into design/code with unit testing/ bug fixing / tuning
• Familiarity with web servers (e.g. Apache) and Application servers, primarily Weblogic 12c
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience related to application tuning for performance is a big plus
• Good soft skills to work as an individual and as a group with onsite counterparts is a must
• Should be a good team player
