JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is looking for someone with plant or storage operations experience to join our team in Mont Belvieu.

Job Profile Summary

Directs and/or performs advanced level of activities related to operations and maintenance at storage facility.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform measurement activities including, but not limited to:
    • Batch cutting
    • Meter entry
    • Daily inventory for LPG products
    • Prove product meters

  • Maintain facility appearance by conducting general housekeeping and light maintenance
  • Ensure quality assurance/quality control by:
    • Sample all LPG products
    • Complete testing per ASTM standards
    • Compare to product specification
    • Accept or reject products

  • Operate storage field/ terminal /remote station control systems during abnormal operational activities / outages. Operations functions include, but are not limited to:
    • Operate / monitor both centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
    • Operation of gas dehydration equipment
    • Operate and maintain LPG truck loading terminal
    • Align manually operated valves to complete various product movements
    • Communicate with customers regarding product movements and product specifications
    • Monitor facilities and follow security protocols
    • Complete maintenance orders and communicate all equipment outages
    • Complete assigned Maximo work orders

  • Complete hourly pipeline and equipment readings
  • Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
  • Read, record, prepare, and/or process information from charts, gauges, SCADA, event loggers and other recording devices including but not limited to:
    • Equipment maintenance and repair
    • Equipment operation and performance problems
    • Safety/environmental forms
    • Pipeline meter data
    • LPG truck loading terminal BOL’s
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Work Experience

  • Experience in use, function, and maintenance of tools applicable to position
  • Mechanical experience relative to repair and maintenance of compressor station and storage facility equipment
  • Training and experience relative to:
    • Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
    • Gas system/liquid pipeline maintenance operations
    • Storage well injection and withdrawal
    • Construction and maintenance activities
    • Characteristics of products handled
    • LPG truck loading activities
    • LPG pipeline operation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to: operate and maintain underground storage facility
  • Ability to: apply addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to: read and interpret maps, drawings, plats, atlas pages, work logs, job orders, dials, gauges, charts, procedures, and operational and repair manuals
  • Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information and instructions
  • Ability to: work in confined areas
  • Ability to: react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others
  • Ability to: detect and react to warning signals at work sites
  • Ability to: operate tools and equipment as required

Expected Salary Range

$71,000.00 - $107,000.00
