This is a full-time, fixed term position for up to 2 years with salary in the range $89,861.38 - $96,402.32 (HEW 6), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Bring your strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate complex projects with multiple stakeholders, to play a key role in coordinating pilot projects that leverage student experiential technology and digital capabilities.
Based at our St Lucia campus
As a Library Experience Project Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of library services. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Library to develop and implement innovative pilot projects that enhance the student experience. These projects will integrate digital technologies, innovative spaces, and user-cantered design to create engaging and effective library services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of library experience pilot projects.
Review and adapt existing strategies to align with evolving student needs and technological advancements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
Utilise user-centred design principles to enhance student experiences and evaluate program effectiveness.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Library, providing support and guidance on project delivery.
Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and other administrative tasks as required.
As part of a high-performing, small team, you will work in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment with opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate will be adept at delivering results in a challenging operational setting while contributing to impactful library and student experiences.
Relevant tertiary qualification and extensive experience in academic librarianship, project management, or digital capability instruction.
Proven experience in developing and delivering innovative projects and programs. Strong project management and planning skills.
Knowledge of information literacy frameworks, digital capabilities, and AI tools. Experience utilizing user-centred design and data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicate complex information.
Ability to think strategically, anticipate future needs, and develop innovative solutions to address challenges.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
