This position works at our Egypt Affiliate, located in Established Pharmaceuticals division that we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.

  • As the (Trade) Sales Supervisor, you’ll have to Provide sales team with the leadership, direction and resources to ensure sales targets are achieved and to liaise with marketing personnel to ensure short and long-term sales, the sales team applies strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve Area (Trade) sales targets.
  • Control Area expense budgets.
  • Provide direction to facilitate goal setting process in line with Corporate and Marketing Department goals; monitor progress; measure results; reward incentive payments; performance appraisals.
  • Select, interview, lure new recruits to the (Trade) sales team.
  • Provide in-field coaching, follow-up training to support skill-based training and develop subordinates to facilitate succession planning.
  • Conduct sales and cycle meetings to monitor progress; facilitate communication; provide representatives with forum to network; provide training.
  • Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedback and market intelligence to Marketing Department.
  • Maintain contact with key accounts; identify opportunities for corporate marketing and cultivate as appropriate.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication.
  • Interact and work with management/ employees to promote teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures and serve as a role model to all employees by demonstrating full support of Abbott occupational health, safety and environmental programs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science/Human or Vet Medicine
  • Strong sales record.
  • Computer skills in power point and Excel is a must.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation & selling skills.
  • Good command of English language
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as FLM – Upper Egypt
  • Past Experience in Trade business model is preferred
