Applied Materials is seeking an experienced, creative and energetic team player to help support a wide range of contracts. This person should be comfortable interacting with our sales force, product and development teams, our customers, and external collaborators. Participating in internal projects designed to drive continuous process improvement and technology adoption will also be a critical aspect of the role. This Paralegal IV level position will report to a Senior Director in the Legal and Compliance Organization (LCO).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements including sales/incentive agreements (including volume purchase agreements), product demo agreements, and NDAs under the supervision of in-house counsel
  • Managing contracts through lifecycle process using iCertis CLM or similar contract management solution
  • Reviewing contracts and preparing summaries for purposes of management approvals and CLM system entry
  • First point of contact for business clients; ability to identify and collaborate with internal LCO and functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Revenue Recognition, Tax, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • 10+ years of contract management experience with a focus on commercial contracts and NDAs
  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to create specific action plans based on general guidance and deliver results
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment independently
  • Experience in fast-paced and fluid environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint applications
  • Positive, professional, and humble attitude
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate, proactive, highly motivated self-starter

U.S. Salary Range:

$124,000.00 - $170,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
