Job Description
- Leads projects and serves as an internal consultant for GPS/DHR initiatives ensuring an excellent user experience in Nissan learning systems, particularly the Learning Management System (Cornerstone OnDemand), supporting HR needs to build a learning and development culture across the organization.
- Oversees system governance establishment (role definitions & permissions), technical solutions, and overall success of learning platforms.
- Leads discovery activities, prioritizes business requirements, partners with IS teams on configuration/development and delivery of targeted system solutions, and testing/launching new system enhancements.
- On an ongoing basis, surface priority system problems, analyze them (root causes, etc.), develop solutions options, and align stakeholders on a final plan.
- Designs and conducts need assessment with customers to provide robust solutions in alignment with Global/Regional L&D strategy.
- Ensure appropriate integration of LMS solutions with other parts of the Nissan learning ecosystem (e.g., Workday & SNOW).
- Partner with Cornerstone OnDemand to ensure Nissan requirements are being met and that the organization is leveraging the right capabilities mapped to our learning experience vision and enterprise architecture.
- Suggests, analyzes and prototypes security changes / constraints based on global L&D content requirements (sends configuration to L3 support for migration).
- Analyzes proposed change impacts to ensure no disruption to shared Nissan-Renault shared architecture.
- Works with integrations team to connect to content providers and downstream systems.
- Provide expertise in tailoring CSOD configuration to meet different stability, scalability, and experience requirements.
- Leads continuous improvement efforts by recommending relevant LMS solutions, processes, tools, and methodologies and executing key process improvement activities. Stays updated on current trends in LMS & LXP software.
- Suggests enhancements based on industry trends in learning
- Provides architecture advice to L&D team to assist in achieving content / program goals
- Suggests content / data structures to L&D teams
- Solutions UI Updates / enhancements and new feature requests
- Reviews quarterly release features, recommending functionality enablement that aligns with the Nissan ecosystem.
- Supports mobile content consumption
- Manages report utilization and limits proliferation of custom reports by using report templates.
