Meet the team

Join Dexcom’s dynamic Business Development and Strategy team — a group of forward-thinking leaders driving strategic growth and market expansion across Asia Pacific. Our team identifies new business opportunities, builds meaningful partnerships, and shapes the future of diabetes care through innovation and collaboration. As Director, Business Development (APAC), you will lead efforts to uncover and build high-impact growth opportunities in key regional markets. From partnerships with digital health platforms to integration with local healthcare systems, you will play a critical role in defining Dexcom’s long-term growth roadmap in Asia.

Where you come in

  • You identify and establish strategic partnerships with digital platform players, hospital networks, government agencies, and other healthcare or insulin companies across key Asian markets.
  • You explore and develop new business models such as B2B (insurance partnerships, bundling programs) and B2H (private hospital collaborations and programs).
  • You lead the development and execution of long-range planning (LRP) and go-to-market (GTM) strategies across the region.
  • You evaluate emerging opportunities and potential investments that align with Dexcom’s growth vision.
  • You work closely with internal stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and operations to translate regional strategies into actionable initiatives.
  • You oversee business case development, ensuring commercial and strategic feasibility.
  • You provide strategic leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure alignment and effective execution across teams.
  • You represent Dexcom externally with partners, industry groups, and key healthcare institutions to strengthen relationships and influence market direction.You collaborate closely with Corporate Business Development to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

What makes you successful

  • You are a strategic leader with deep experience in regional business development or strategy roles within pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
  • You have a strong track record of identifying and executing partnerships that drive measurable business growth.
  • You understand healthcare ecosystems in Asia Pacific, including government stakeholders, private payors, and hospital systems.
  • You bring a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution — able to move seamlessly from high-level vision to operational delivery.
  • You are highly analytical and data-driven, with experience in evaluating market potential and financial viability.
  • You have strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
  • You are entrepreneurial, innovative, and thrive in fast-changing, complex environments.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of industry experience.
  • Requires 9+ years of successful management experience in a relevant industry.
  • A graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
