The Finance team is hiring for a Accounts Receivable Accounts Analyst (Fixed Term Contract - Covering Maternity Cover).

The Accounts Receivable Accounts Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the billing and credit control for the Company’s Dutch business from the London office. This role involves: create and send monthly invoices to customers, applying cash received from customers against their accounts, chasing slow paying customers, assisting with the close of the Accounts Receivable ledger at month end.

The Accounts Receivable Accounts Analyst will collaborate with various departments, including sales, market data and trade desk, to resolve differences and achieve consistency on processes that have manual components.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Raising (approx. 500) invoices at the start of the month and sending them to customers. This process is semi-automated.
  • Monitor and record customer cash activity daily for the company’s EU exchange businesses.
  • Ensure the companies’ debtor accounts are maintained in accordance with IFRS rules and internal/SOX controls.
  • Prepare customer overdue notices and answering customer queries as required on a timely basis.
  • Process monthly incentive payments to customers.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Calculation of the monthly bad debt provision and expected credit loss.
  • Produce customer collection information for various management reports and the monthly collections meeting with Heads of Sales.
  • Engage with the commercial teams to ensure accuracy of billing
  • This position will interact regularly with external and internal auditors.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven track record in credit control.
  • Proficiency in using Excel is required and experience of using Workday will be advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
