SUMMARY

The Program Manager supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) Aerospace Medical Research Division, (AAM-600).   Plays a significant role in providing PM support for the Software Technical Refresh of Toxicology Database (ToxDB)ToxFlo and MANTRA applications. This position is Part time.

The Program Manager supports the customer by identifying design requirements and proposing solutions as defined in the contract. This position is highly technical or specialized in nature. Provides technical consulting support as well as advance technical design and specifications.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

25+ Years varied enterprise and government business experience preferred
Experience with Department of Defense Trauma Registry and Joint Trauma System is preferred
Experience with Primary Risk Management Framework (RMF) is preferred
Coordinate, assign, and manage IT staffing.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures all aspects of project management are carried out efficiently and effectively.  Reviews project proposal or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitation, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Helps in the preparation of contract deliverables.

Prepares project charts and schedules as needed. Performs job cost analysis. Maintains a solid customer relationship and assures customer satisfaction with the successful execution of the project.

Manages and assists in developing and maintaining information technology programs as requested, in accordance with approved system/subsystem design requirements and specifications.

Manage and assist in developing and maintaining software programs for AAM-600, as requested, in accordance with approved system/subsystem design requirements and specifications.

Ensures employees apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments that may require innovation in determining how to accomplish the tasks. This includes developing the methodology, offering solutions to problems, and contributing to the deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

 Implements industry best practices, project management tools and methodologies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Applied Science, Management

25+ Years varied enterprise and government business experience preferred
