Your Purpose:

As the Crate Builder, you will be ensuring that crates are built to protect goods during transportation and storage, maintaining efficiency and safety in the logistics process.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will box, palletize or crate all machines, customer care parts, and any other type of product that requires large format handling.
  • You will mark crates based on order detail and attach necessary labels, documents and stickers.
  • You will be working closely with other team members to complete large or complex projects
  • You will produce and retain a record of machines handed over and crated.
  • You will use a forklift to move, load and unload crates and materials
  • You will maintain safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures
  • You will maintain the work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient fabrication processes and good safety practices
  • You will carry out other duties as assigned.

What your qualifications are:

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in logistics.
  • You have experience using hand tools and power tools 
  • You can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • You have basic computer skills  
  • You have experience using a sit-down counter-balance forklift 
  • You can work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative during slower periods.
  • You can interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
