About the Role
The role involves the collection and delivery of pathology specimens from designated locations throughout Melbourne, it also involves the sorting of mail and delivery of pathology reports and consumables.

  • Collection of specimens from designated locations according to Hospital requirements and
  • prearranged schedules/routes.
  • Having a good working knowledge of the hazards of working with potentially infectious substances.
  • Collection, sorting, enveloping and delivery of Pathology reports

Classification for this position will be JJ8 ($57,002.40 per annum)

Your Contribution

  • Victorian Certificate of Education (or equivalent)
  • Full Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Experience as a Courier Driver

About Pathology
The Pathology Courier Dept is an essential part of the pathology service at St Vincent's Hospital by providing the collection and transport of all pathology specimens from medical centres and pathology collection centres located throughout Melbourne.
