The multi-skilled Material Handler is more independent and self-reliant on moving incoming and outgoing product movement in accordance with supply chain and throughout the facility.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
  • Reads production schedule customer order work order shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved gathered or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style color or product code.
  • Fills requisitions work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to production areas.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.
  • Navigate SAP material / inventory modules (confirming available stock issued & confirming TO's)
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales crates and other containers.
  • Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Uses computer to enter records.Drives material handling equipment to transport stored items.
  • Loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product.
  • Utilizes manual and automated material handling equipment.
  • Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
  • Complies with environmental regulations when using dispensing or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and wastes.
  • May perform other duties as required.
  • Contributes to division results and performance
  • Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience including material handling
  • Candidate must able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Previous experience with ERP system SAP experience a plus.
  • Able to work independently and problem solve

Job postings will include a wide salary range, with each role's pay falling within that range. The starting salary is based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions.

Salary range:

$39,500.00 - $63,000.00
