Job Description

  • Supports production operations with all maintenance and repairs for electrical and mechanical problems such as (but not limited to) 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, machine automation, and robots.
  • Analyzes, solves problems, and maintains all plant equipment using sound troubleshooting techniques and repair methodology.
  • Works from available mechanical and electrical drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
  • Assists with research of parts as necessary.
  • Performs preventative, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance per work orders.
  • Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up instructions, blueprints, and electrical prints.
  • Completes charts and other simple documents to communicate to the team.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by staying in sync with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2+ years of CNC experience and 2-3+ years of maintenance experience.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and equipment.
  • Ability to drive a forklift, scissor lift and articulating arm boom truck.
  • Ability to use standard maintenance and electrical repair tools and equipment, operate lifting equipment, computer terminals, and other tools/equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and availability to work on the 2nd shift, or any shift as needed.
  • Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
  • Experience with Fanuc robots for recovery and point adjustment preferred.
