Job Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all job duties in a professional, respectful, and responsible manner in alignment with company policies and procedures.

  • Build strong working relationships with crew members and internal departments to support high-quality production.

  • Demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Safely and competently operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scissor lifts, floor sweepers, and power washers.
  • Perform confined space entry procedures, both as an entrant and an attendant, when required.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Work overtime as needed, including 12-hour shifts.
  • Adhere to all company and location-specific policies and safety regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:

  • Strong sense of urgency and self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
  • Professional and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using the Alkegen Oracle management system.
  • Familiarity with ABB system control applications.
  • Ability to work with limited direction and apply independent thinking in daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery and mobile equipment safely.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools to ensure product specifications.
  • Comfortable using computers and data entry systems; experience with Oracle or ABB systems is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and perform tasks involving physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, and climbing.
  • Must be comfortable working in routinely monitored environments which may contain dust, fiber, ammonia, ozone, adhesives, and/or volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • Must be comfortable safely handling hazardous chemicals and materials including but not limited to acids, bases, and/or various irritants.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with latex.
  • Must be medically fit if required to wear a disposable dust mask or half mask.
  • Willingness and availability to work overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends, as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be available to work 12-hour shift, OT and weekends as needed.
