POSITION OVERVIEW:

Apollo Insurance Solutions Group seeks a Commercial Real Estate Servicing Analyst for its Mumbai office.  This new role added to the team supports a growing portfolio of commercial real estate mortgage loans. The Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to support the daily demand of Loan Servicing. The Analyst will have the opportunity to work with various departments across the organization and manage relations with servicers, vendors, attorneys, and other commercial loan professionals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Request and review checklists for all commercial mortgage loans that can be posted to Apollo ISG’s capital provider as collateral; evaluate loans for capital provider eligibility

  • Work with various internal partners to gather pertinent data to manage a deal pipeline and forecast of available borrowing capacity; produce a weekly report

  • Validate data and rectify issues on $6B of commercial mortgage loans held with the capital provider as needed

  • Review changes in capital provider pricing, challenge as necessary; update forecasts and other reports as needed

  • Utilize Excel to stratify and analyze various mortgage portfolios

  • Regularly review closed loans to produce reporting; reconcile report with internal systems

  • Reconcile borrower and property financials as required

  • Other duties including leading special projects as assigned by management

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience is required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter who needs minimal direction

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments

  • General and front-line knowledge of real estate finance, investments, accounting, and insurance principles.
