Under direction, set-up and takedown meeting rooms, ballrooms, and exhibit halls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participates in room set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to, chairs, tables, riser/stages, reader boards, stanchions, lecterns, piano, office furniture and equipment, etc.

  • Cleans equipment when necessary.

  • Makes recommendations for the improvement of all phases of the facility operation.

  • Works safely at all times, notifying the Lead or Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents.

Education and/or Experience          

  • Previous experience in a similar line of work desired.

Skills and Abilities  

  • Knowledge of:

    • Safe work practices

  • Ability to:

    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing using the English language

    • Receive direction both verbally and in writing and follow those directions precisely

    • Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday

  • Skill to:

    • Operate radio devices

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Prefer forklift certificate.
