Job Description:
The Global Compliance Program promotes and fosters a strong culture of integrity, ethics and regulatory compliance, and provides independent oversight of the management of regulatory compliance risk. The Compliance, Strategic Insights & Reporting team is responsible for the development and production of Global Compliance reporting to Senior Management and the Board.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance, this position will support the development and delivery of executive reporting for Global Compliance as well as involvement in Risk program activities. Key accountabilities include:
Prepare and manage reporting in support of both departmental and external partner needs and overseeing the integrity of data and ensuring accuracy of internal reporting.
Maintain procedures, job aids and repository of reports and email communication.
Develop and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide oversight on the compilation, draft and edit of documents and presentations for senior executives and committees of the Board.
Manage the Board & Committee Reporting tool to support executive reporting.
Develop common standards and best practices for reviewing and analyzing reporting information.
Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement.
Assess/identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required.
Assist in the preparation of materials for internal audit or regulatory reviews, as required.

Act as a key liaison with partners and other related groups.
Assist on strategic initiatives/special projects as required.
Job Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and interact with all levels within the organization.
Strong ability to synthesize information and adapt it to meet the needs of the audience.
Ability to communicate effectively and build good working relationships with diverse groups to identify issues, reach consensus and implement workable solutions.
Strong attention to detail is required.
Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to distill and communicate complex information.
Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, make timely decisions, and manage deadlines while multi-tasking amongst different projects and priorities.
Strong collaborative skills and experience partnering, building and working with teams across jurisdictions preferred.
Ability to operate in an evolving, sometimes ambiguous, environment.
Strong research, investigative and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with aggressive deadlines.
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization with strong organizational awareness.
Ability to identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency of the function.
Must be self-motivated, energetic and results-oriented and be committed to adding value to the organization.
Ability to understand current legal and regulatory matters as it pertains to the financial services sector. Knowledge of relevant Canadian and international financial industry legislation would be an asset.
Proficiency in SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education and Accreditation
University degree is preferred.
Experience in Compliance would be an asset.
Strong reporting and communications background preferred
