The Role: 

• We are seeking a highly motivated Fab Technology Engineer (FTE) to join our team and drive business growth in the semiconductor CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) sector across Southeast Asia. This role is pivotal in bridging customer requirements with internal R&D capabilities, ensuring technical solutions are successfully developed, evaluated, and adopted. 

In this role you will: 

Business Opportunity 

- Identify and pursue new opportunities in the CMP polishing market. 

- Support strategic initiatives like conducting Technical Engagement Meeting (TEM) to expand Company’s technical presence in Southeast Asia. 

Customer Engagement 

- Build strong relationships with customers to understand technical and operational needs. 

- Present tailored solutions and proposals that demonstrate clear value. 

Internal Collaboration 

- Work closely with R&D/MSE and Business Unit to translate customer requirements into optimized solutions. 

- Provide feedback from customer evaluations to guide product improvements. 

Technical Proposal & Qualification 

- Prepare and deliver comprehensive technical proposals. 

- Facilitate and support customer onsite product evaluations and qualifications, ensuring successful integration into customer processes. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field. 

• Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly CMP polishing. 

• Proven ability to engage with customers and manage technical discussions. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and business-oriented. 

• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. 

• Experience in Southeast Asia’s semiconductor industry is highly desirable. 

Education  

• A degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, or related field required.  

• An advanced degree is a plus. 

Experience  

• 5+ years minimum hands-on experience in the field of Semiconductor.  

• CMP experience is a must
