Amplify has undergone tremendous growth as a provider of high-quality instructional materials in K-12 education. Developing and maintaining a 6K+ SKU catalog of physical products requires new innovations and frameworks to ensure that products are optimized for supply chain functions at scale.
The Manager, File Integrity and Reprints will
Work closely with Product Development to ensure that design and configuration decisions enable strong back-end service performance, which will translate to a positive customer experience.
Support the Executive Director of Product Data Integrity, other Supply Chain Operational teams, and Product teams to achieve near and long-term excellence in file integrity and accurate reprints and corrections delivery.
Responsibilities:
The Manager, File Integrity and Reprints within Product Data Integrity is responsible for initiating and leading efforts to improve and maintain product file quality and access:
Manage all aspects of the content corrections workflow, including content updates, errata remediation and requests submitted by customers, editors, and authors.
Serve as project manager for reprints efforts including creation of schedules implementing all tracking tools in order to facilitate work.
Coordinate efforts between Product teams, Supply Chain teams, and external vendor resources to ensure reprints and corrections are made and implemented accurately in alignment with schedule and budget requirements.
Ensure file integrity is maintained and access is optimized for reuse.
Manage and facilitate the release and transfer of printer files with manufacturing vendors.
Assist with the creation/implementation of file archive process/system.
Assure compliance between print vendor requirements for templates and product prototype designs relative to page geometry, et al.
Manage the process of template review from the supply chain perspective, including the feedback and approval processes within the product design prototyping routine.
Ensure files produced are in compliance with appropriate industry standards (WCAG, MSST, et al).
Create file integrity initiatives and maintain oversight of compliance.
Shape process and procedures for print corrections and reprints, and maintain the integrity of title assets.
Support and collaborate to ensure integrity of the archiving systems, working to ensure appropriate redundancy for emergency backup. Collaborate with Product teams to maintain archives of legacy material from acquired companies and from other external suppliers. Maintain accurate version control of files.
Partner with vendors and colleagues to audit, analyze, and refine file creation and access processes.
Develop and communicate solutions, optimize discovery and reuse, and drive measured, quantifiable improvement in file integrity and delivery. Operationalize file set up and processes by documenting business and vendor needs and translating them into requirements.
Drive strategic vision for optimal file set up and delivery processes, metrics, projects, and products.
Create summaries, both visually and written, that support organizational communication on the progress of enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our publishing processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience overseeing print file management for reprints and corrections
5+ Print production, product development, and/or design background experience
Minimum 1 year page composition and prepress background for producing high-quality electronic files for print and web
Experience delivering impeccable customer service to internal and external customers
Intermediate financial knowledge (e.g., calculating margin, ROI analysis)
Ability to work collaboratively and productively with cross departmental teams
Knowledge of educational industry standards and best practices in file management
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a strong project management background
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Enthusiastic self-starter, ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into problem solving
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
Supply chain and / or continuous improvement experience
Experience with establishing metrics and performance reporting measurements
Experience in the field of education technology
PMP certification
A background in business operations
Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets, Trello, Lucidchart, etc.)
Adept with spreadsheets for capturing product and financial data

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
